I started Dj in in the middle 90’s after graduate from Specs Howard a friend of my got me into it Alisa Berry is her name to be exact. I have had a deep love for music since childhood with Mom singing and Dad playing with the saxophone she being a homemaker and pop an Air traffic Controller this meant I grew up with an eclectic background in music from Jazz, Soul, To Rock and roll My Dad’s favorite group is Cheep Trick . . lol. Not from Detroit born in Milwaukee WI. I moved around a lot because of my fathers Job, but I mostly grew up in Detroit a product of the Detroit Public School system “Redford High School to be exact “Go Huskies.” In High School and College where I became a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity house music was everywhere and I loved it. I remember after I crossed we heard my Frat brother Kevin Saunderson drop “Good Life” at an EMU party. I remember the music Institute and still have the flier from the three-day closing! House music has been a main stay in my life. I have produce podcast The Jazz Suite and Gospel Jazz Podcast for more than 6 years I’ve hosted internet radio show Treasures from grandpa’s attic and The Chris Kelly Show for SVMIX internet radio. I still do a Soul podcast called Getting-it-in Soul it has always been about the music. My business partner convinced me this year to start Djing in front of an audience again and I love it!!! I choose the name Dj J.Squared is a homage to my mother who passed away in 2004. My nickname growing up was J.J. because I’m named after my father so to pay homage to the woman who introduced me to all that I love about music so Dj J.Squared was born. In the early nineties, I've played professionally in Bratislava, at the time when the country begun it's transition to new and better times. Early on, I have tried to find my own style and take the extra effort to play stuff that nobody played, especially on the radio. We used to buy DMC previews from London, but more often than not we were on the road to Munich, and Vienna to buy stuff that was not on the charts. House music back then was simple. In 92, I've found my way to the US as a student and begun in Brooklyn with nothing but bag of clothes and about a grand in my pocket. It was an awesome time, the music scene in NYC was great, Funk Master, Junior Vasquez, Chris the Greek, Hot 97. I've spent a decade studying and working in the city, and eventually landed in Charlotte, NC. Once you were a DJ, you will never look at it the same way, you will always seek that new sound and inspiration. This platform allows me to experience that feeling once more!

Hi everyone im a 44 yr old mum of two im married and mad for music i love allsorts of music really but my love of music must be with old skool you just have to love it i went to my 1st rave back in the day when i was 13 yrs old in 1983 it was at the barbican in london, i was amazed at all these weird people dancing around like nutters and looking completly out of it after that event i then became one of those weird people and ive never looked back those were the best days of my life and i lived it to the max i also went to sunrise outdoor raves in old aircraft hangers we all drove up there in convoys on the motorway also desire top nights out and sadly missed i used to go out for 48 hrs and not come home id always go to the after partys then id have to goto work on monday morning dieing. I like garage,funky house, hardcore, dnb,lovers rock,soul,disco the 80's i only go out once a month now as im getting to old for it all now because its taking me much longer to recover because im dyeing for 3 days after lol My favorite venue is Camden Palace im always at the promised land events ( back to the summer of love 1988 and im an original raver from the Desire 2000AD ♫♪♪ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▃ ▂ I LoVe OlDsKoOL.▂ ▃ ▅ ▆ ▇ ♪♪♫.

Born in august 1969, DJ Pascal has always had a true passion for music. Since a young age - let’s say as soon as he was able to hold a 7” record in his hand - he was the one at home who had to put the records on the turntable and play them. So his mum says… In the beginning there was… The radio The story starts in the Summer of 1982 when he gets the opportunity to visit the studio of a local radio station. Mesmerized by this universe, he starts to host shows on different local radios. His adventure in the world of radio stations will go on for almost 10 years. Even though it has not much to do with mixing, it really carved him out a solid musical background and knowledge. First spin... At about 15, he discovers a new sensation when friends ask him to deejay at their birthday parties. Well let’s be honest, at this point, it is closer to “play records” than mixing, really… In 1987, he contacts one of the biggest events company in Braine-l’Alleud, the city where he lives. At this time, they need deejays for all kind of events, parties, weddings, etc. So they offer him the opportunity to start working for them from time to time. And so it all begins… In da club... In the late 80’s, he gets his first experience mixing in a club, La Belle Alliance, as a replacement dj. Kind of different than mixing for private parties, just as fun but way more exciting! 1990-1992: He works for the first time as resident DJ in a club called J.C. Club in Brussels. 1994-1997: He starts to work in the club Arc-En-Ciel, near Waterloo. 1998-2001: Paradox, a gay club in Ghent. 2001-2003: L’Espace 80 (The 80’s room of the Palladium in Baisy-Thy). 2003-2004: L’EXM in Walhain. 2006 up to this day: Le Rétro in Plancenoit, near Waterloo. Along those years, he never stopped improving his skills to mix flawlessly the pure disco from the late 70’s, as well as the music from the 80’s (his teenager years!) Nevertheless, Dance, House, Deep House, Trance, Progressive or even Retro House are some of his favorite styles. Beside the exclusive edits that he realizes for his performances, DJ Pascal also started since 2013 to remix some 80’s classics and even started to compose original tracks. More than ever, music is his force, his passion, his life. To be continued…
